Helpful cheats:
Press CTRL + SHIFT+ C and type these in in the white box that pops up at the top:
moveobjects on (allows to move objects that can't be usually moved, including sims)
boolprop snapobjectstogrid false (allows objects to be placed closer together and look more natural)
showheadlines off (gets rid of speech bubbles)
boolprop allow45degreeangleofrotation true (rotates stuff I guess. I don't have University so it doesn't work for me)
plumbbobtoggle off (gets rid of the green crystal. I can't use this one either, so I just select a different sim on the lot than the one's I'm shooting)
boolprop testingcheatsenabled true (I rarely use this one, mostly for just replenishing needs because for some reason motiveDecay off gives out at odd moments)
